When WERK adds a client, the system researches local and global competitors and current trends. It then drafts campaign ideas with two AI models, has a third model score them, and merges the best into one idea. With one click, the idea becomes a storyboard of typically 4 to 5 scenes, each with a title, description, duration, on-screen text, a generated image and a 5-second video clip that the team can share with the client by link.
| Client | WERK, marketing and content production, Singapore |
|---|---|
| What we built | Internal web app: client CRM, market research, idea generation, storyboard generator and a shareable client view |
| Automated | Market research when a client is added, idea drafting and scoring, image and video prompts, scene images and clips |
| AI used | OpenAI (research, ideas, storyboards, prompts), Google Gemini (second idea draft), Anthropic Claude (scores ideas), Runway (images and video clips) |
What the system had to handle
- Turning a client's raw ideas and brief into structured advertising concepts quickly.
- Grounding each concept in what competitors and the market are doing right now.
- Planning scenes, durations and on-screen text before any filming.
- Showing clients how a concept would look and flow, without producing it first.
How one campaign idea flows through the system
- The team adds a client. Name, industry, website, contact and internal notes go into the built-in CRM.
- Market research runs by itself. Web searches find local and global competitors, and the AI writes up four trend summaries: local ads, global ads, industry trends, and the brand's strengths and weaknesses.
- Two AI models draft ideas. They use this month's trends, the client notes, ideas the team liked or rejected before, and any upcoming event.
- A third model scores them. Each idea is rated on creativity, feasibility, impact and measurement. Weak ones are redrafted, and the best are merged into one idea.
- The team reviews. They keep favourites, delete the rest or add their own ideas.
- One click makes the storyboard. The idea becomes a list of scenes, typically 4 to 5, each 3 to 8 seconds, with the call to action in the last scene.
- Every scene gets visuals. The AI writes an image prompt, generates the image, writes a video prompt and animates it into a 5-second clip, several scenes at a time.
- Share with the client. A link opens a read-only storyboard view, and each clip can be downloaded.
What runs automatically
| When this happens | The system does this |
|---|---|
| A new client is saved | Researches competitors and writes four trend summaries |
| Ideas are requested | Drafts with two models, scores with a third, redrafts weak ideas and merges the best |
| A storyboard is requested | Splits the idea into scenes with titles, descriptions, durations and on-screen text |
| Each scene is created | Writes image and video prompts, generates the image and animates a 5-second clip |
| Clips are ready | Saves them to the storyboard, ready to view, reorder or download |
What stays with the team
- Choosing which ideas to keep. Favourites and rejected ideas feed the next round, so suggestions get closer to what the team likes.
- Writing their own ideas and internal notes about each client.
- Adding scenes by hand, optionally with their own image, which the system then animates.
- Reordering and deleting scenes, and deciding which storyboards to share.
- The prompts behind each step are kept in an editable library, so the team can tune the tone without code changes.
Why several AI models
Different models are good at different jobs. Two models drafting ideas gives more variety, and a separate model acting as judge catches weak ideas before the team sees them. Image and video generation use a dedicated visual model. Client contact details are stored encrypted.

Could this work for your business?
The same research, idea and storyboard flow fits agencies, in-house marketing teams and video producers that pitch concepts to clients regularly. Implementation starts from S$3,000, plus a monthly fee based on usage, and a typical system is ready for testing in 2 to 4 weeks. Not sure where to start? Read what to automate first.
